Special note for Union Plus Credit Card holders

HSBCâ??s sale of credit card portfolio to Capital One

 

HSBC Card and Retail Services , the issuer of the Union Plus Credit Card, announced that it is planning on selling all of its U.S. credit  card assets,  which include the Union Plus Credit  Card, to Capital One, based in McLean, VA.

While there is no confirmed date for the transition, it is not expected to be completed for several months. 

Your card will continue to function as it does today.  Please use your card as you always have. There is no action required on your part at this time.

Be assured that your union credit will continue to offer all of the unique benefits designed for working Americans including special hardship protections to help union members facing financial hardship due to job loss, furlough, disability, disaster, strike and high hospital bills.

Additional information regarding the sale will be posted on this website when it becomes available.
